"I think it's a tremendous program—better than any program I've been exposed to before. I would just encourage any group that wanted to develop and reach greater heights of leadership individually or as a leadership team, that the Journeys By The Aperio would be a great thing to go on."

Senior Vice President at Multinational†

“It's a journey … It's not a leadership program. It's not a leadership course. It's something that requires you to really work on yourself and be pretty challenging with yourself and others.”

Executive Management

“It certainly enhanced my self-awareness and knowledge of what I need to do to be a better leader. It's something that I get better satisfaction from. I see the team grow. I see myself grow. I see their perception of us as a team and me as a leader change.”

Executive General Manager

“It’s completely unique—really really different than any other programs that I attended. [The depth of the process] is very unique.”

Chief executive officer

McKinsey Organizational health Index

Bottom-Quartile to Top-Quartile in Just Four Years

McKinsey & Company Organizational Health Index is the gold standard for measuring overall organizational health. At the beginning of MultiNational’s engagement with The Aperio, the company assessed its health, and then did so twice more before the end of our engagement. The results were revolutionary, as MultiNational went from the Bottom-Quartile to the Top-Quartile in organizational health in just four years. While our engagement isn’t the only factor, the leader of the OHI initiative at MultiNational said the following:

“I think [what we learned in Journeys] helped shift the dial on organizational health. Was that the only factor? No. But Who* Not What’s influence was substantial.”

“You assume, at least as a starting point, that the people in your senior team are there for a reason in terms of their What —they've done it before, they've got a track record of this. So if they are, a bunch of people are pretty good at the What. How do you actually leverage that and make it better?

Well, we got to look at the ‘Who.’”
